Social Insight

Social Insight

MMRD Social Insight has been at the frontier of social research in Myanmar since 2000. We provide our clients with reliable data, which enables them to establish, monitor and evaluate sustainable and impactful projects in Myanmar.

Field Data Collection (CAPI/PAPI),
Entry & Processing

We have conducted research using both Paper and Pencil Instrument (PAPI) as well as Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) data collection methods. We help our clients to keep large volumes of data organized by contributing to their databases with updated and accurate information.

Baseline, Impact Monitoring & Program Evaluations Studies

We provide an information base to measure the current situation which enables our clients to monitor and assess the progress and effectiveness of their projects. MMRD’s SI team also assists in measuring the environmental, economic and social impact of various programs.

Market Assessments & Concept/Product Testing

We help identify the needs in rural and urban communities to successfully implement a socio-economic project in the country. The SI team evaluates consumer responses to a product or service idea prior to the introduction of the market.

Dissemination Workshops & Survey Trainings

Using dissemination workshops, we provide direct and participatory engagement in order to enhance the impact of research. We also conduct trainings that enable the execution of qualitative and quantitative research projects across different industries.

Mapping Exercise

MMRD SI has experience conducting mapping exercises which can identify the main channels of information and the location of potential beneficiaries for various programs.
