The Social Insight department was established within MMRD 10 years ago to provide aid practitioners and
other actors with in-depth and practical knowledge on the socio-economic environment in which they are operating.
Social Insight also studies impacts of social projects and proposes ways to improve their overall effiency and achievements.
MMRD-Social Insight department has already conducted more than about 100 social research projects focusing on livelihoods,
health, education and WASH notably. It uses both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
